Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman was an American gymnast States who won gold at the 2012 Olympics. She became the first American to have won many Olympic medals. In the 2016 Olympics she took home gold for the team event, which earned her as well as teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of being one of the very first Americans to have two consecutive gold medals for the team. She also won silver medals in the individual all-around event as well as for the floor workout. In between the two Olympics she took an absence from gymnastics competition for three years. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American teams at the two World Championships. When she was just 2 She began learning gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor workouts. Aly has a strong support for an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who passed away from cancer. Aly plans on pursuing the field of fashion, and is looking to increase her signature line of leotards and socks later on. Fierce, a new book she's working on, will be published sometime in the coming year.
